Tons of stuff happens at Tower Games each month – so much, we can't always fit all the details in our newsletter. Read our June event update for more details about Port Royal and Kids D&D Summer Camp.


So many people were interested in People's Pride this year, they didn't have the space for us. Tower Games will not be at People's Pride this year, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go! Head to Powderhorn Park on June 28 for a non-corporate alternative pride event filled with rest, collaboration, and love.



Port Royal Demo – June 13

Swash your buckles and prepare to walk the plank. Join us June 13th for a demo of Port Royal, a tactical, small-scale warband-sized skirmish miniatures game of pirates and privateers. Survive the dangers and get away with the booty!


Port Royal is a campaign based, tactical, small-scale warband-sized skirmish wargame that is easy and fast to learn and play.
Players will gain loot and experience between games while building infamy and growing in their piratical expertise. But take heed! The ruins are fraught with dangers! Falling buildings, wild animals, desperate civilians, and opposing companies can bring a quick end to members of your company.

Port Royal features:

  • Dynamic back and forth skirmish game play.

  • In depth campaign system.

  • Head to head, solo, co-op, and multiplayer.

  • Low model count (4-10)



Dungeon Crawls – June 14 & 29

Dungeon Crawls are back this June with adventures for kids and teens. Prepare your character sheets, grab some dice, and give us a call to sign up for an unforgettable all-day adventure!

Free RPG Day – June 21

Stock up on your favorite RPGs and leave with a little something extra, June 21st. Free RPG Day sees top publishers and indies alike offering freebies to thank you for supporting your FLGS.




Kids D&D Summer Camp – June 23-27

This June, join a band of young adventurers for a week of questing and roleplaying craft. Learn to build memorable characters, paint miniatures with an award-winning instructor, run your own adventures, and even wield a (foam) sword! Share in the triumphs, defeats, and hilarity and make a few new friends along the way. You can read all about what a blast last year's summer camp was here.


Each camper will receive:

  • A set of Army Painter brushes

  • A starter set of Army Painter paints for miniatures

  • A Role-Playing miniature

  • A 7-dice RPG set

  • A notebook


Lessons:

  • Monday - Miniature painting with Award-winning Painter Travis Winter

  • Tuesday - Creating memorable characters and tips for Role-playing adventuring

  • Wednesday - Dungeon Mastering tips and One-shot creation

  • Thursday -  Playing through the Camper created One-shots with the miniatures painted on Monday

  • Friday - LARP (Live Action Role Play). Learn how to (safely) wield a melee weapon (foam) with real-life Swordmaster Josias Arcadia, Head Instructor of Ram's Head Fencing
